Leaning on the arms of Jesus
Hymn Monday is back, after an extended vacation!
Yay!
Today’s Hymn is called Leaning on the arms of Jesus, it has been in my heart for the past few days. As I have found myself in the midst of fears, lack of joy, and worry; leaning on the arms of Jesus in prayer, worship, and in His Word is where I have found strength and peace without end.
But let me tell you friend, most of the times I don’t want to do any of that … All I long to do is cuddle up in bed with a cup of ice cream to cry and then cry some more, while I forget the troubles of this world. Nevertheless, it has been far more fruitful to do the same in God’s arms. As a close friends always tells me “God comforts us through His promises and heals us through every tear shed in prayer.”
“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle You have recorded each one in your book”. Psalm 56:8
I know that if you Lean on Him, He promises to do the same. I will be praying for you, trust in Him, all your burdens He will bear!

Leaning on the arms of Jesus
Oh, it is so sweet and precious!
He will surely bless and keep us,
Calmly resting free from care.
Leaning, leaning,
Safely on the arms of Jesus,
I’m leaning, yes, leaning,
Leaning on the arms of Jesus.
Leaning on His arms of power,
Jesus is my strong, high tower;
He’s my peace a constant shower
He will every need supply.
Leaning on His arms, I’m trusting,
What have I to fear? I’m resting;
Jesus is my constant blessing,
He will all my burdens bear.
